General rules define minimum capital requirements, for an LLC this is 1 euro .

Foreign citizens can open a company in Montenegro, under the same conditions as Montenegrin citizens. A full list of documents required will be send you on request.

Foreigners can obtain a seasonal or annual temporary residence permit on the basis of employment, real estate ownership or family reunification, if one family member already has a temporary residence permit.

Low tax rate, fast procedure for establishing a company in only 7 days, and a flexible tax system are an additional benefits for all foreigners who are interested in opening a company in Montenegro.

The residence permit is issued for one year, after which it must be renewed annually.
